An update is long overdue. I have decided to redo some of the early part of the book. So it looks like there will be some more editing going on in the first chapter than planned. More research into the hero's journey model also is needed.

It has been a few days since I posted last. I have been a little busy... sleeping. Today I finished a new mould for a concrete pot--the last one didn't work. I also went out today and got the tree I will be putting into my metal pot.
I talked to my learned cousin. He thinks my utopia is a dystopia. I might have missed some of the finer points. This may also be a case of the heaven-hell syndrome.

So yeah, I broke down and finished the first chapter of my book and basically have the entire plot of the rest of the book laid down. Will post as soon as the editing is done.
I went to the local all candidates debate tonight. The NDP won. I will still not vote for them for one reason -- 25% of their internal vote is dedicated to the unions. That leaves too much power in union hands. That is wrong to me. Each person--or person under the law, including unions--should have only have one vote.
I love my new "hacker" hat. I got the white one. Was there any doubt?

I am currently wanting to go on a mystical voyage. Like the ones my ancestors did, or at least the shamans of my ancestors. I am looking at the salvia divinorum plant. This particular plant has incredible hallucinogen and no addictive properties. Oh and it is quite legal in almost every country.
I went looking for my metal pot today. I found a good candidate in a scrap tire. I will have to go back and get it. I also made a form for a cement pot. It will be used to keep some rock moss. The larger tire pot will probably house a tamarack tree or maybe a pine.
I haven't worked on my book since I last posted. Hmm, I will one of these days.
Taxes have finally been sent away. I will be real happy when I get a check from the government.

Sorry about the bad spelling and grammar in the last post. But oh well.
Yay. I almost got the first chapter done in real English. I am wondering if I should write the book in my version of phonetic English or the proper English. I think it might add a demension to the book if the language is advanced too. However, every book that uses advanced langauge usually turns me off.

Went to the city today. Got myself a plant. I finally added a fern to my collection. It is of the genus and species vary according to source. However, it is called the rabbit foot fern. This is a link to information on the plant.
My collection is almost complete. All I need now is a saprophyte and a plant with black leaves. I am actively looking for a Black Tree Aeonium, Aeonium arboreum var artopurpureum 'Schwartzkopf'.Picture and details of the plant. Black mondo grass looks promising too.
All this about plants and not much on my transhumanizing. I will get around to writing the first chapter. I promise. Soon.

Holy fuck! The English language is pretty messed up in its writing. Not just the its, it’s debacle. The whole system needs to be phonetic. I will do away with silent e’s, heteronyms and much of the other bull crap that stands in the way of a decent written language.

For starters we will eliminate all the letters that can be duplicated by other letter combinations. So it goes that x, c, and q are on that list. Yet there are those sounds not covered by a single letter, appropriately like ‘ch’, ‘th’, ‘sh’, ‘oo’ and possibly ‘oy’ are in need of symbols.
Oh yes, I think we need a possession symbol like the roman final sigma, only for possession and not pluralization. If this is not the case it doesn’t matter what we use as a possession indicator the its, it’s problem is possible. However, if we choose to ignore this and just say that this is a special case to be aware of, we can live without this symbol. In the end, I think it will be for the best not to have another symbol to know.
